Celebrating creative freedom in South Africa, The Writing Studio transforms ideas into action, empowers and emancipates writers, develops scripts from concept to final draft, and facilitates the needs between writers and producers/ publishers.
Following 18 years of developing the write attitude and presenting workshops for aspirant storytellers and storymakers throughout South Africa, 2012 marks an important year for The Writing Studio and trainer Daniel Dercksen, who has been running the studio independently and taught more than 800 workshops in creative writing and writing for film, theatre and television.
